The CIRCOFLUX test system is used for the non-destructive surface testing of ferromagnetic steel bars using the magnetic flux leakage method in accordance with standard EN 10221. This method is the most sensitive surface testing method for longitudinal, crack-like defects in hot-rolled ferromagnetic steel bars. The CIRCOFLUX sensor system therefore replaces subjective testing methods such as the magnetic powder test (magnetic crack detection) and visual checks, which are difficult to document and reproduce.

Transformer Ratio Meters
Handheld Turns Ratio & Winding Resistance Tester TWR-H
TWR-H is a handheld, battery operated, fully automatic test set specially designed for turns ratio, phase shift, excitation current and winding resistance measurements of transformers. It can also perform demagnetization of these transformers. Transformer turns ratio is determined by applying AC voltage across high voltage winding, accurately measuring AC voltage across the corresponding unloaded transformer winding, and then displaying the ratio of these voltages. User can enter a transformer’s nameplate voltages, so that turns ratio deviation can be calculated. This feature eliminates any error otherwise caused by an operator’s manual calculation. TWR-H compares measured turns ratio with the nameplate ratio and prints out the % of error for each test. Transformer winding resistance is determined by injecting DC current through a winding, accurately measuring DC voltage across the winding, and then calculating resistance as the ratio of voltage and current. The device generates true DC ripple-free currents. Both the injection of the current and the discharge of energy from transformer magnetic circuit are automatically regulated.

The PT-1 provides a simple and easy way to determine the relative polarity of coil windings. It allows for an in-process test that takes a minimum of time to perform. By placing a coil on the platform and making connection to the start and end of a winding, a test signal is induced in the winding. The induced signal is low level and completely safe for the operator. By comparing the test signal phase of the coil under the test output, the relative polarity is indicated by the Red/Green LED. The tester operates by inducing a signal voltage in the coil under test by means of a magnetic flux field. The field is generated by a coil located in the probe base. The coil configuration is designed to provide optimum field distribution. We have also applied this basic circuit to a 5-channel scanning unit.

The RFS set consits of three passive near field probes designed for the use in a measurement scanner during the development of E-field and magnetic field. They are designed for frequency ranges of 30 MHz to 3 GHz. The probe heads of the RFS set allow for close measurements needed to correctly localize interference sources on an electronic assembly. TRT Advanced series is the newest DV Power solution for transformer turns ratio measurement. The low test voltage of 1 V AC enables turns ratio verification of current transformers.TRT500 is equipped with a large 10.1” graphical touch screen display. Other models, (TRT400, TRT250, TRT100) have 7” graphical touch screen display. Besides making the interface much more user-friendly compared to older turns ratio testers, it also brings certain options that were previously available only with DV-Win software. The most important are test templates and automatic test mode.
