Measure 10 GΩ Isolation at 100 V
This new capability is of special interest to customers requiring measurements of extremely high isolation resistance at very low voltages. The HVX-series option may be ordered with new testers or added as an upgrade to previously purchased systems.
Application
Applications for such high isolation measurements at very low voltage include mission critical devices with densely packed pins that would arc at higher voltages potentially causing damage: For example, the testing of military or aerospace cables with nano connectors.

ADACS
This high-speed damage-control system was built around Arc Fault Detect and Continuous Thermal Monitoring (AFD/CTM) from the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. When AFD/CTM detects dangerous arc faults — powerful discharges of electricity between conductors — the ADACS system immediately cuts power to the affected circuit before it can damage equipment or injure nearby personnel. Altogether, the system prevents loss of life, preserves countless repair dollars and assures continuous readiness.

Spectral Response SystemsQuantum Efficiency SystemsIPCE Measurement Systems
QE system provides electronics and software designed for fully automated measurement of external quantum efficiency of solar cells. All systems include probes and a fixed plate sample stage for samples up to 150 mm x 150 mm. The main system components include: custom designed software, measurement electronics, and computer system (Windows 8 operating system). The measurement involves focusing monochromatic light to a spot on the device under test, then accurately measuring the photon flux and current from the test cell. The system utilizes a dual beam configuration with lock-in detection, providing an absolute accuracy of ±3%. The QE system uses a grating monochrometer with silicon/InGaAs/Ge detectors. The system includes automatic order sorting filters and two light sources for monochromatic illumination (a Xenon- arc lamp and a halogen lamp). A single lock-in amplifier is used to measure both the reference detector and test device. The main system comes with all the hardware needed to measure quantum efficiency, a fixed plate sample stage and probes.

Description The Advanced CAT Series Analyzers and Timers are stand-alone or PC-controlled digital instruments for circuit breaker status evaluation. Timing channels record arc closing and opening, resistance and auxiliary contacts. The main contact channels can also measure the resistance value of pre-insertion resistors (if present in the breaker). The advanced CAT series records graphs of the opening and closing coil currents and the movements of the moving parts of the high and medium voltage circuit breaker. Power Line Meter
The Line EMI Meter measures electromagnetic interference in a single-phase AC power line. It plugs into a wall outlet (mains socket) and requires no battery. It immediately displays total line noise in millivolts (range 1999 mV, resolution 1 mV) in the frequency range 10 KHz 10 MHz (the frequency limits at which sensitivity is of the maximum sensitivity). A speaker plays the sound of the EMI, amplitude demodulated, in order to identify the EMI source (such as an AM or shortwave radio station vs. a motor vs. an electric arc).
