Our Light Director™ system (patented) provides a computer-guided technique for assembling connectors used in aerospace, medical, and other high-reliability applications. This system uses light fibers driven by super-bright LED lamps to individually illuminate target cavities in the connector being assembled. When the technician enters the wire code printed on unconnected wires, or touches a wire connected at the other end, the CableEye software turns on the appropriate fiber, thereby causing a bright, flashing light to project from inside the target cavity guiding the technician to the proper insertion point. Correct insertion is confirmed by the elimination of light from that location, whereas insertion into an incorrect location leaves the flashing light visible.

Outdoor Exposure Tester

A comprehensive analysis of PV modules includes many different parameters. Determining the normal module operating temperature (NMOT), incidence angle effects and comparing soiling effects on different modules up to the initial degradation of PV modules are all parameters that can be analyzed with our outdoor exposure tester. The tester comes with up to twelve electronic loads installed in a 19" rack. The loads have two main functions: maximum power point tracking (MPPT) and IV curve tracing. For the advanced analysis, it is possible to change between these two modes within one test. In the normal operation mode, the electronic load keeps the module under MPP and each predefined interval an IV curve is traced. The entire tester comes with all necessary sensors such as temperature sensor, which can be attached to the module to determine the NMOT temperature like defined in IEC 61215 (MQT 05) and IEC 61853-2. The irradiation sensor is also included. In combination with our tracking system P2, it is also possible to determine incident angle effects of the PV module. It is also possible to connect other irradiation sensors for diffuse and direct irradiation, which helps to understand the behavior of the module in different irradiation conditions. An optional albedo meter is a powerful tool for the analysis of bifacial modules. The entire graphical user interface is web based and offers the possibility to access the system from the all computers in the network.

Because of that, it is compatible, as an additional load, with any other discharge/capacity tester in the market.In case when discharge current exceeds the capacity of a single BLU device, BXL can increase the discharge capacity. There are no limitations on the number of extra load units that can be connected in parallel to the main battery tester.A system of BLU and BXL instruments enables performing the capacity test in an accurate, user-friendly way. The Main unit performs the bulk of the tests, such as determining the LAN device type (is it a hub/switch or PC?), the LAN speed and duplex (10, 100, 1000 MB/s, half or full duplex) and whether PoE (Power over Ethernet) is present without the need of the Remote Probe. The Remote Probe adds the ability to trace cable locations (by audibly tracing tones placed on the cable by the Main Unit) and to test the wiring of the cable (by decoding and displaying wiring information placed on the cable by the Main Unit).
