SWIR Imagers
SWIR imagers (short wavelength infrared) are an important group of surveillance electro-optical imagers due several reasons. First, advances in InGaAs technology enabled design of relatively low cost SWIR imagers. Second, InGaAs imagers are very sensitive and can generate images of observed scenery even at dark nights. Third, SWIR imagers are less vulnerable to bad atmospheric conditions than TV/LLLTV cameras working in visible/near infrared band. Fourth, SWIR imagers can generate hi-res images even if they are built using much smaller optics than used for design of thermal imagers.

GaiaField-Pro Hyperspectral Imaging Camera
YoGaiaField-Pro (GFP) camera provide extremely high resolution images by scanning and taking multiple images to construct a hyperspectral datacube. Hyperspectral imaging devices (GFP) for spatial (slit) scanning obtain slit spectra by projecting a strip of the scene onto a slit and dispersing the slit image with a prism or a grating. In spatial (slit) scanning, each two-dimensional (2-D) sensor output represents a full slit spectrum (x,λ). The NUC integrated into the system to control system operation ,data acquisition, and analyze, so the spatial dimension is collected through the scanning motor movement . The line-scan systems are particularly common in remote sensing, so it is sensible to use mobile platforms. The system can keep working by internal battery about 4 hours and user can use ipad or phone to connect the camera by internal Wifi.

Hyperspectral Image Processing Software for THz Imaging Data
ImageLab
ImageLab is a one-of-a-kind image processing tool developed by our partner EPINA for the analysis of data from various spectroscopic imaging techniques such as THz, optical, UV/VIS, IR, Raman, or mass spectrometry. Based on multivariate statistical methods it enables the user to analyze and classify acquired hyperspectral images, to merge them with maps of physical properties and to overlay them with conventional high-resolution color photos. Visualization of the image data and highlighting of analytical information round up the software package to an indispensable instrument for in-depth analysis of spectroscopic image data. ImageLab is now part of Menlo Systems’ imaging extension TERA Image. Ask us for possibilities to upgrade your THz imaging system with our unique software tool!

Hyperspectral Imaging Sensors
HYPERSPEC® sensors are line-scanning instruments (sometimes called pushbroom) that collect reflected light through an image slit. One row of spatial pixels is collected per frame as motion occurs, with each pixel containing full spectral data. Motion can be accomplished in two ways: either as an airborne deployment (UAV, aircraft, or satellite) or stationary (where motion is accomplished beneath the sensor, such as a food inspection line). A third option is also available where pan-and-tilt or rotary stages allow a fixed-location sensor to scan a stationary object (such as a piece of artwork, or a mine face for geological applications).

Hyperspectral Cameras
Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc
A hyperspectral camera can scan an object and determine what materials make up that object. For example, it can determine the amount of water, fat or protein in a piece of steak. This works by being able to measure the way in which each material interacts with light. By doing this a special signature is created that is individual to that material.
