The sinusoidal outputs are 2.5Vrms signals that are phased 90° apart as REF out and REF out +90 (Quadrature), allowing the unit to be used with Synchro, Resolver, LVDT/RVDT, Inductosyn, or similar inductive transducers.

They will directly replace conventional electromechanical control transformers & thus provide digital control to existing analog servo systems. They simultaneously accept a 3 wire synchro input (0) and a digital angle input (0), and provide an ouput which is the sine of the difference between these two input angles (A sin wt sin (0-0) ("wt" is the synchro excitation frequency).

The BAC series of Binary to BCD converters will convert binary angle data to 5 digit BCD data scaled in degrees and decimal fractions of degrees. Units with display and/or data outputs are available. Custom scaling of the output to represent actual physical units of measure can be provided easily (i.e.: feet, lbs., meters, mills, etc.) They will also accept encoder outputs and display them at extremely low cost when compared to previous solutions.
